Purpose and operator

LEAP-NEMO Backup is a personal backup utility operated by Jasjeet Singh. It uses rclone to back up selected local files to the owner's Google Drive and to verify and restore those backups.

Information accessed and used

The utility processes selected file contents and metadata, including filenames, folder structure, sizes, modification times, and checksums, to upload, compare, verify, and restore files. Google Drive storage information may be queried to check available capacity.

Google access uses the drive.file permission. This covers files created by or explicitly authorised for the app; it does not grant general access to all existing files in the account.

OAuth credentials and tokens are stored in the local rclone configuration for authentication. Local transfer logs and verification records may contain filenames, paths, sizes, checksums, timestamps, and error details.

Storage and sharing

Backups are transmitted to and stored in the owner's Google Drive. Google processes this information as the storage provider under its applicable terms and privacy policy. The utility does not automatically publish backups or enable public sharing. Sharing settings remain under the account owner's control.

The operator does not sell Google user data or use data accessed through this utility for advertising. This notice concerns the backup utility; separate uses of project files in other applications are outside its scope.

Retention and deletion

Backups are retained until the owner deletes them or applies a retention procedure. The owner can delete backups in Google Drive and empty its trash to request permanent deletion, subject to Google's retention practices. Local logs and configuration files remain until the owner removes them.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke the app's access through the Google Account's third-party connections settings. Revoking access prevents subsequent authorised operations but does not itself delete existing backups or local records.

This informational website

These pages contain no sign-in form, tracking scripts, or advertising. Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website and may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, for delivery and security. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
